Jardines Imaginarios is a project born on the campus of the historical university Complutense of Madrid, from a collaboration between the departments of botany and plastic arts. The initial exhibition combined the treasures of the archive with contemporary creations around the theme of plants. Following the success of the exhibition, the sobering gallery decided to host an alternative version that brought together several Spanish-speaking artists: artists from the emerging Chilean scene such as Rodrigo Arteaga were present alongside established Spanish artists such as Toya Legido or Luis Castelo.
